Yeast disc separator is a type of nozzle slag discharge separator. It is widely used in suspension's solid phase concentration and emulsion's light phase concentration. For example, kinds of yeast's separation and concentration, clarification of clay and pigment's dirty water, recycle of catalyst and high polymer powder. So it is one of the best equipment for yeast factories, alcohol factories, brewery factories and environmental protection departments. The starch separators are disc separators with high speed and continuous nozzle discharge. Disc centrifuge/separator is used for purifying starch, preconcentration, protein separation and starch recovery, can also be used in food, medicine, dyeing, environmental protection departments of the liquid-solid two phase separation and clarification, concentration and recovery process, such as kaolin pulp recycling, waste water treatment, etc. Nozzle separators are continuously operating disk centrifuges. They are built as centrifugal clarifiers and separators and are more solids-orientated than self-cleaning separators. When they are configured to function as clarifiers, they are called concentrators. They are used to thicken solids from suspensions.Nozzle separators are absolute specialists in the processing of fermentation products in biotechnology, the pharmaceutical and food industries.
It can realize liquid-solid separation. This machine has better separation. It can be operated manually or automatically or remotely with PLC control to timer the process of working and solid discharge to save lots of labour work. It is simple in structure and easy in maintenance.
Main Purposes: This machine is widely used for many industries, such as dairy, beverage, pharmacy, chemicals, petrol, metallurgy and biology, etc.
Structure and Principle:
The bowl rotates at a high speed round the main axis, driven by a motor through hydraulic coupling and screw gear pair. stock liquid flows from the upper feeding pipe into the bowl's bottom and then will be separated through holes of disc seat. by the action of centrifugal force field, heavy liquid flows along the inner wall of discs to the inner wall of the bowl, after up flowing along them, it will be discharged by the heavy liquid pump, the light liquid will be done by the light liquid pump, which flows along the inner wall of discs into centre pipe and then up to high liquid outlet. the larger solid phase particles left will sedimentate on the bowl's wall and then will be discharged through nozzle out of the sediment outlet.
